Anderson Silva Ready for UFC 208 Fight stat : Rolling Stone

"I have a lot of respect for Conor McGregor because this man changed everything in the UFC," Silva says. That's exactly the situation Silva faces when he meets Derek Brunson in Saturday's UFC 208 co-main event at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Few would argue Silva is the greatest striker the UFC has ever seen, but another athlete looking to lay claim to that title is current UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor. "Being in the UFC changed everything in my life," Silva says. At 41 years old, Anderson Silva still has plenty of love for the fight game.

Jim Miller will be competing in his 38th professional mixed martial arts (MMA) bout this Saturday night (Feb. 11) at UFC 208. Instead, Miller won three straight. Poirier has won four of his last five bouts and he's finished three of his opponents in that span. Sharing the Octagon with him will be Dustin Poirier. They are set to meet inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
