The Rock replied to a Tweet from Muscle & Fitness saying that he considered joining UFC 10 years ago and that he wanted to train under Greg Jackson who has trained many successful fighters including former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm, among others.

When you think of WWE stars who crossed over to the UFC, two fighters spring to mind. The Rock's UFC debut came and at 46, it's unlikely to come anytime soon.

The Rock Says He Considered UFC 10 Years Ago but 'Smartened Up'

The Rock tweeted Sunday he considered UFC a decade ago and envisioned Greg Jackson as his coach. I thought, 'Oh, well maybe UFC. This is not the first time The Rock has said he was previously interested in joining the UFC. While Johnson would have likely taken the UFC to a more mainstream level 10 years ago, things have worked out well for the former wrestler. However, he explained he steered clear of the Octagon after he "smartened up" because he wanted his "jaw intact."
