* * * *GeneralUFC 208 marked the first card in UFC history with just one stoppage result. Nover became just the second fighter in UFC history to have a 1-6 record with the promotion. Islam Makhachev (13-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) has completed three or more takedowns in each of his UFC victories. Ulka Sasaki (19-4-2 MMA, 2-3 UFC) fell to 1-1 since he dropped to the UFC flyweight division in May 2016. Jared Cannonier (9-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) fell to 1-1 since he dropped to the UFC light-heavyweight division in December.

UFC 208 bonuses: Poirier vs. Miller earns Fight of Night honors

Dustin Poirier and Jim Miller earned Fight of the Night honors for their memorable clash to kick off the pay-per-view card. Poirier won the slugfest via majority decision (28-28, 30-27, 29-28) to capture his fifth win in his past six fights. There were only three UFC 208 bonuses on Saturday night. Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza earned the lone Performance of the Night bonus for his impressive first-round finish of Tim Boetsch. Souza won via kimura for his second straight victory.
