Ian McCall out of UFC 208 due to illness, his fifth straight dropped fight

The UFC flyweight has fallen ill and will not be able to compete against Jarred Brooks at UFC 208 on Saturday in Brooklyn, the UFC announced Saturday morning. UFC 208 is headlined by the inaugural women's featherweight title fight between former bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie. McCall would have faced Ray Borg at UFC 203 in September, but Borg got sick during fight week. In November, McCall was supposed to face Neil Seery in Belfast, but McCall got sick the day before the would-be fight. McCall's original opponent for UFC 208 was actually Seery, but had withdrew due to personal reasons and Brooks stepped in on short notice.
