Todd Duffee out of UFC 209 bout against Mark Godbeer according to : mmafighting

UFC heavyweight Todd Duffee has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 209 bout against Godbeer due to undisclosed reasons. Mark Godbeer will be needing a new opponent for next month's UFC event. UFC 209 takes place on March 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. Tyron Woodley seeks to defend his UFC welterweight title in a rematch against Stephen Thompson in the main event of the card. Godbeer stated Thursday in his post that the UFC is currently seeking a replacement opponent for him. Godbeer will be looking for his first Octagon win, as he lost his promotional debut last November against Justin Ledet.




Mark Godbeer apparently needs a new opponent for next month's UFC 209 event. Godbeer (11-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) today announced fellow heavyweight Todd Duffee (9-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has been forced out of the fight for undisclosed reasons. Godbeer, meanwhile, made his UFC debut in November, when Justin Ledet tapped him out at UFC Fight Night 99. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass, though the bout order hasn't been finalized. UFC officials and Duffee haven't made a formal announcement, and of this morning, the fight is still listed on UFC.com.

We'll have to wait and see why "Duffman" is off UFC 209. Todd Duffee continues to struggle with getting into the cage consistently. The once highly-touted Heavyweight prospect has once again found himself unable to compete, pulling out of his UFC 209 match-up with Mark Goodbeer. Either way I will be fighting at UFC 209.
